Framtiden eller flyget? – Aktion mot Arlandas expansion

FRAMTIDEN ELLER FLYGET?

Flyglarm Arlanda bjuder in till en fredlig civil olydnadsaktion söndagen den 11 augusti, för att uppmärksamma och utmana den planerade utbyggnaden av Arlanda flygplats.

Uppsamling, info och pepp på Märsta station kl 10.00, för gemensam avmarsch mot aktionsplatsen. Eftersom vår aktion bygger mycket på överraskningsmoment kan vi inte avslöja de exakta aktionsplanerna i förväg, men vi tror att det blir minnesvärt!

Aktionen kommer att genomföras på olika nivåer av olydnad, där du själv bestämmer vilken grupp du vill vara med i och hur långt du är beredd att gå. En grupp tar helt lagliga roller, medan andra grupper kommer att befinna sig i legalt mer riskabla positioner.

Aktionen kommer att ha kl 15 som sin sluttid. Beroende på händelseförloppet kan det finnas möjlighet för dem som vill att stanna kvar längre.

”Framtiden eller Flyget” kommer att ske i direkt anslutning till Jordens vänners Klimatfestival som äger rum på Eda lägergård i Knivsta mellan den 9 och 11 augusti och som också har flygtrafikens klimatpåverkan och expansionsplaner som tema.

TRANSPORT

– från klimatfestivalen:
Vi åker tillsammans till Märsta med buss från Eda lägergård. Det finns också möjlighet att få skjuts direkt till aktionsplatsen.

– direkt till aktionen:
De som åker från Stockholm respektive Uppsala kommer samlas på dessa båda stationer för gemensam avfärd till Märsta. (mer info kommer!)

AKTIONSTRÄNING:
Deltagarna på Klimatfestivalen kommer att få möjlighet att förbereda sig och träna inför aktionen under helgen. Det går också utmärkt att ansluta direkt till aktionen utan att ha deltagit på festivalen. Även då erbjuds träning i Stockholm, Uppsala och Örebro ett par dagar före aktionen. Vi återkommer om detaljer för denna träning.

Viktigt: Vi rekommenderar att alla som tänker sig att ha mer legalt utsatta roller deltar i träning, antingen på klimatfestivalen eller i Stockholm innan. För er från andra delar av landet som inte har möjlighet att komma på träning, kommer vi att försöka hitta andra lösningar. Meddela oss, så återkommer vi om det.

On Sunday the 11th of August Flyglarm Arlanda invites everybody to join a peaceful and non-violent civil disobedience action in order to bring attention to the undergoing expansion plans of Sweden’s already biggest airport.
Meeting point for those who will go straight to the action will be Märsta station (commuter train). For those who will travel from Stockholm or Uppsala there will probably be a gathering first at each train station and then you will travel together to Märsta.

In order for everybody to feel comfortable to take part in this event, the action will be performed in different levels of civil disobedience. It will be possible to choose both fully legal tasks and more legally risky ones.

The action will take place in connection to the climate festival in Eda, Knivsta, between the 9th and 11th of august. The festival is arranged by Friends of The Earth and the main topic will centre around the climate consequences of airport expansions and increased aviation.

The participants at the Climate Festival will be given the opportunity to prepare for the action during the festival and will also be offered transport to the action.

It will be possible to join the action without participating in the festival and in that case you will be offered to enter another training session in non-violent civil disobedience. This training session take place in Stockholm, Örebro and Uppsala a couple of days before the action. More details tba soon!

Important!

If you’re thinking about choosing a more legally risky position during the action we recommend that you take part in one of the training sessions, either at the climate festival or the ones before in other cities. For those from other parts of the country who do not have the opportunity to join any of the training sessions we will try to find other solutions. If this is the case for you, please let us know well in time before the action!

Because of security reasons we cannot tell you the exact location of the action until the actionday. But count on a bit of walking by foot. If you have any physical function variations, please let us know!
